Gluten Barbecue

12 pieces gluten, fried
1/4 cup margarine or oil
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup lemon-lime bottled soda drink
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vetsin
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Melt margarine over low fire. Saute garlic and onions, add the rest of the ingredients except the gluten. Bring to a boil, then add the gluten. Cover and let simmer until half of the liquid is absorbed.
