Kare-Kare 2

1 eggplant, sliced round Salt to taste
1 banana bud, cut fine Soy sauce as desired
1 cup string beans, cut into 3 tablespoons oil
1/2 inch lengths 2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 cup ground peanuts 3 tablespoons chopped onions
2 tablespoons ground roasted rice 2 medium size tomatoes, cut fine




Saute garlic, onions and tomatoes. Add salt and soy sauce.
Add the banana bud, string beans and then the eggplant.
When the vegetables are slightly cooked, add the ground peanuts
and roasted rice. Bring to a boil. Don't overcook.
Salt to taste.
Yield: 6 servings.
